Included the block (and rotating assembly), head, intake mani, and a few other parts and accessories. Slight pitting on the pistons, but ill be completely replacing almost everything in the engine, so I am not worried about that. Aside from being pretty dirty and having a bad seal or two, it looks good. More pictures to come, as I gradually accumulate a shit load of parts to put it back together.
Also pictured: BRZ wheel destined to be a night stand, my old set of wheels/tires, other junk.

What do your cams look like? If you're low-ish miles, you might not have to do anything, but since you're talking a performance build, they might be going the direction of being made into lamps...

Those stock 93+ wheels are in decent demand so don't scrap them.
Also if you need part numbers or anything let me know, I work in the parts department at a Toyota dealer.

Nah, that engine has a claimed 140k, so everything is getting worked over. I'm under the impression that the stock cams can be machined well enough to suit any of my needs, though.

I see two types of wheel in there as well. One set looms like FRS and the other wheels for the SW20?

My build has an alleged 120-140k, and is known for having a soft/high-wearing cam (Rover V8), so I'm going to go new + new cam bearings. I didn't know how well the 3S-GTE cams typically held up, so I asked.

Yeah, I figured I would hang on to them in case I ever decide to sell, or wait for their value to increase a little. I could probably get 450 for the set, at the moment. One of them is slightly pitted, but otherwise I lovingly restored all of the center caps, and the entire set looks good. Tires are almost bald, so that will not be a factor really.
I will definitely keep that in mind, I've got a few friends who work at the Toyota dealer in town as well, but not in parts.

Never hurts to ask, not at all. I've done a little research on it, but I'm no expert by any means.

I like your project, I have one myself.

Thanks. Yours looks great! I can't wait to learn more about this engine.

now I'm wondering where you are located sos I may appropriate those 93+ rims, $450 is steep though.

I'm in Houston area, you?

I claimed a damaged BRZ wheel, and the other set came with my SW20.

Shipping them would be expensive, honestly. If you want em and will cover shipping, I would be willing to come to a mutual agreement on price. I'm not an unreasonable guy.

i appreciate it, but it will still be very close to $500, for that price I can literally buy a beater locally with the 93+ wheels, part it out, and still have wheels plus cash. Thanks though. If you were local, I would highly consider it.

No problem, that's typical with heavy parts. People gotta show me where they're finding all these $500 cars though :)

t boned cars with blown engines, watching craigslist like a hawk and knowing every mr2 owner in pretty much a 100 mile radius.
